Environment Art Concept Art Illustration & Worldbuilding for Owlchemy Labs

Cosmonious High is Owlchemy’s latest VR adventure game. I contributed along nearly every part of the art pipeline, mostly focused on environments. I also spearheaded a set of guidelines & processes for working with outsourcing studios.

The game is out now on Oculus & Steam!

Principal Glob’s Office Environment

I was responsible for this environment — everything from concept art to modeling, texturing, integration and lighting. A major part of my creative brief was redesigning the space to fit the game’s style and making quest items easier for the Player to discover.

In-Game Books

Tutorials, easter eggs and gameplay hints are littered all throughout the game in books. I developed a visual language to fit the game’s setting while remaining legible in VR, which set the standard for books created by the art team.

Props & Concept Art

Everything in Owlchemy games is interactive. I designed, modeled & textured props and quest items to flesh out classrooms and provide moments of discovery to players.
